Hey there, I’m Bethany.

I’m married to my wonderful husband, Jonathan, and together we recently welcomed our sweet daughter—a true blessing to our family. We also share our home with our two large dogs, Sadie and Ellie, who keep life fun and full of energy. Lincoln has truly become home for us, and it has been such a joy building our life and family here.

I completed my training through DONA International and hold a Bachelor of Science in English Education with an ESL Endorsement, which allows me to combine education and encouragement as I walk alongside families in their birth journey. I believe birth is something deeply purposeful, and my goal is to help you feel informed, supported, and confident in the decisions you make for your care.

Some fun facts about me:

  • First and foremost, I would not be able to do any of this without God working through me.

  • I have a BIG passion for outdoor travel, exploration, and exercise. Bonus if it involves my family.

  • In my free time, I enjoy going outside, cooperative board games, funny shows, and relaxing with my family.

The Why:

I have always found birth to be one of the greatest miracles ever created. To know that something that starts so small can become such a profound part of someone’s life is wonderful. I got to see this firsthand, as I grew up on a llama and alpaca ranch. At first, I was a tad squeamish when one of our animals was giving birth, but a big part of me was curious and wanted to help the mom. These experiences allowed me to see how much love (even between an animal and its child) can immediately blossom.

Fast forward many years, and I have friends gracing me with their birth stories. I LOVE getting to hear them, being the listening ear that allows them to recount and process what they went through. It made me realize this is what I want to do - support mothers and families during their birthing experience.

I can finally use my passion for birth to help educate and support families in this exciting season of their lives! I feel truly honored to be able to walk…or sit, stand, dance, or rock, beside moms and their partners while they navigate such an intimate experience. Thank you for allowing me to support you through this!
